AUTUMN.

2 min read

So, autumn is here. Yay. I'm excited for the 8 million fall pictures I love to take. Need to step it up, though, there is more to pictures than pointing your camera at an orange leaf and saying 'There we go.'

Also halloween. Byll and I are going to try and start out website (fangwere.com) within the month. He's hesitant because he feels he doesn't have enough content to put in yet.

Hello everyone!

I've started drawing again. And I am in desperate need of money. Therefore, I am opening commissions up for some drawings. Here is my price list.

Pencil Sketch: $5

Inked Drawing: $10

Lined on Photoshop: $15

Full Color Picture: $25

HOW I DO COMMISSIONS THAT YOU RARELY SEE WITH PEOPLE:

First of all, I will not accept full payment until AFTER the initial sketch is completed. I've had commissions done for me that I was forced to pay full in advance, and the pictures came out NOTHING like what I asked. All you have to do is a down payment of $5 (since you'd be receiving a Pencil Sketch)

Second, I will not charge you extra for redrawing a picture if you do not like the way the initial sketch looks. If I finish coloring a picture and I did the wrong shade of brown for hair, or the wrong color dress, I won't charge you to go back on photoshop and retouch the color.

And third, I will not half-ass anything. I'll flat-out tell you if I can't draw something (like if you ask me to draw a really detailed picture of a castle... not my forte) and if you do the down-payment and I can't finish the picture, paypal allows you to refund.

So, If you'd like a commission, please email me at StazDimarca@gmail.com. It's also my paypal account. :)

I have hit a sudden standstill in my art.

I cant' seem... to improve. I don't know, I'm not sure how to explain it. My photography isn't getting worse, but it sure as Hell ain't improving.

In my opinion, you learn beauty and art from other people as well as yourself. Therefore, if you have ANY advice for me on how to help me get to that next phase in my photography, it would be so extremely appreciated.

Plus, I have my first paid wedding job in a month. I want to give this bride her money's worth... My current main issue is not being able to replicate that beautiful, airbrushed look that I see so many photographers doing.

So, I've decided that being considered a professional photographer means that I make a living off my work. Soon my website will be up and hopefully that will be the case. I want nothing more than to spend my days taking and editing pictures while getting paid to do it...

Special thanks to :icondarkwellstudios: for the photoshoot yesterday. I needed pictures of myself for Adamie and for the 'about me' section. I am usually nervous at first because I'm not the prettiest girl in the region (understatement) however he did a damn good job. Worth every penny, plus he made me feel like we've known each other forever. Very friendly and a master at his craft! I'd recommend him to any model I meet who's looking to expand her portfolio and I'd definitely recommend him to any agency or company that needs high quality stuff.

Hey everyone!

Wow, over 20,000 views. Sweet.

Thank you to Sedma :iconsedma: for the lovely gallery layout. I also made a new folder entitled "Flowers and Trees". It's cool to see my progression in technique... and stuff like that.

I'm still trying to figure out how to de-grain all my photos. No matter how much I mess with ISO and aperture, nothing seems to work. I guess the best thing is I continue to shoot photos around midday.
